KARN vs. Joey Nux
Tattooed tank Karn is snoring mid-ring. Maybe he’s sleeping off a great defeat, or a bad hangover. Either way, Joey Nux ain’t havin’ it. So begins one of the best comic matches ever show, with wise-cracking Karn working alongside comic straight man Joey Nux. Karn’s jabbering starts the instant he’s awake, and is interrupted only the his own screams of pain at the hands of a progressively more annoyed Nux.
“Oh yeah, sure,” shrugs Karn when challenged by Nux. “Wrestling rings are for wrestling...not sleeping!” Karn pulls Nux into a nasty attempted headlock, which Nux bites his way out of easily. Soon Karn is being lifted like a dumbbell and thrown to the floor.
“It’s my ring,” roars Nux.
“Well technically, it’s the building’s ring...Ah! Okay...it’s your ring. I get it. You’re great, and all that good stuff. Remove your fucking foot from my abdomen!”
It’s a cavalcade of camel clutches, strangulation holds, ab abuse, hair pulling...and of course one brain cell-killing sleeper after another!
